The Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators, the primary association of Ohio’s elementary and middle school building principals and other school administrators having an interest in elementary and middle level education, traces its beginnings to the creation of the Ohio Department of Elementary School Principals within the Ohio Education Association. The Department was formed in 1925. In 1973, OAESA became an independent association. In addition to practicing school administrators, the Association's membership includes individuals aspiring to become school administrators, retired administrators, and institutions that prepare individuals for the principalship and other school administrative posts.

Educational Impact is the premier online provider of professional development for educators. EI provides educators with content needed for professional growth and the knowledge and skills to assist in improving student achievement results.
Educational Impact was founded by educators who realized that traditional professional development alone was not, in many cases, having a positive impact on teaching and learning. Since 1999, Educational Impact has developed 21 programs containing over 300 hours of streaming video, bulletin boards for asynchronous dialogues, live chat rooms, numerous resource libraries, databases on best practices, and a accountability tracking system.
Educational Impact’s program content aligns with ISLLC and ISTE standards, as well as the No Child Left Behind legislation. The online programs are also available for Continuing Education Units (CEU/CPDU/PDU) and graduate credits through Nova Southeastern University.
